High King Goddard Hazelwood extends his invitation to the gathered Factions of the Free World, to attend a Council of War on the western shores of Albion.
Special arrangements have been made with the ancient and mysterious fae of Elvesham to pierce their secret lands for a handful of precious days. The factions are offered a once-in-a-lifetime experience to investigate what lies within forests normally shrouded in eldritch and timeless mists.
There, grand opportunities await the bold and cunning: to gain powerful allies in the fight against the rising dark; to gather valuable intelligence on the enemy; to gird the war hosts with magic and power for the coming War of Renewal. All of this is available for those with the will, the strength and the guile to deal with the deceptions and challenges of the fae and their mysterious, dangerous land.
Even the invitation seems laced with intrigue: Why has the Umrada Cole, High King of the Fir Cruthen, been invited to co-host this gathering on Albion soil? Why would the reclusive fae of Elvesham suddenly appear so friendly – and what of the ancient evil said to slumber but fitfully within their demesne? What, too, of the rumours of powerful forces massing on the borders?
